Essence is an American Emcee from Connecticut. With caribbean roots, her love for music quickly grew through influence in the household. From opening up for Rowdy City and Most Hated Ent., to Headlining EODUB and returning to join the national EODUB MC Challenge, Essence has showed she is here to stay and willing to collaborate internationally. She has featured with Swiss producer Intifada and has featured on Tanzania's first hip-hop dedicated radio show, JembeFM to promote collaboration with Tanzanian Producer, Black Ninjah. Performing at Festivals to curating an after hour lounge with Keila Myles ran by all women, Essence  has heavily showed her passion for art.She took poetry classes in her childhood stages. Attending A.I. Prince Technical High School With platinum recording producer Professor John Roper, she acquired knowledge in music production as well as videography, live show set-up, radio  and more. She delivers heavily with authenticity, lyricism and vocal presence.
